The Role

This is a full-time, remote role focused on leading and executing Rubrik data protection and cyber resilience implementation projects for customers. You’ll work closely with client stakeholders to design, deploy, and optimize backup, recovery, and ransomware resilience environments while ensuring successful project outcomes and an exceptional customer experience.

What You’ll Do:

  • Execute Rubrik implementation projects end-to-end, including Rubrik Security Cloud (RSC), CDM clusters, and cloud/on-prem data protection architectures
  • Collaborate with customers to align backup, recovery, and cyber resilience solutions with business goals
  • Support project planning, system configuration, and on-time deliverables
  • Configure SLA domains, replication, archival, and integrations with VMware, Hyper-V, physical hosts, NAS, and cloud workloads
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during and post-deployment
  • Maintain clear communication with stakeholders throughout engagements

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years of data protection / backup and recovery experience, with 3+ years hands-on with Rubrik (CDM, RSC/Polaris)
  • Experience with ransomware recovery, immutability, and cyber resilience concepts
  • Experience with implementation and project delivery processes
  • Strong understanding of virtualization and infrastructure (VMware, Hyper-V, cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure/GCP)
  • Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (DNS, load balancing, routing, firewalls)
  • Automation and scripting experience (PowerShell, Python, Terraform, Ansible, or Rubrik‘s REST/GraphQL APIs)
  • Excellent problem-solving and customer-facing skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (as needed)
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS or equivalent experience
  • Rubrik certification (e.g., Rubrik Certified Systems Administrator/Architect) strongly preferred
